About the Author
Classical guitar technique pedagogue Richard Stadler began playing classical guitar when he was 11 years old. When he was 16 years old he went to study at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy where he graduated from in 1998. Due to complications from occupation related hand injuries Stadler gave up playing guitar for years, until 2008 when Nicholas Lambson totally rebuilt his playing Technique and Dr. Tasmin Cordie began to help him heal from chronic inflammation issues related to his diet. Stadler is now concertizing again, and released his first solo album this February. Stadler performs and writes original classical guitar music and is known for his extravagant opening tuning compositions. His meditative playing style is both powerful and delicate to the ear. Stadler is also a much sought after classical guitar teacher famous for his 7 month Technical Boot Camp Course. Stadler is excited about all the recent positive feedback on his book, "45 Minute Classical Guitar Mastery" and hopes his technical training continues to be shared with the world. Stadler enjoys teaching his wonderful student body in person and over Skype. THE MATERIAL IN THIS BOOK HAS BEEN STOLEN.

I am the author's mentor. I was very proud to have helped him regain the ability to play the guitar, and to be able to do so professionally. He expressed his gratitude by stealing years of my work.

This book should never have gone into print. The methodology, the exercises, and the tips and tricks are all things I taught him and are going into my own publication.

This book will be pulled from the stands pending active litigation.

The improbability and impossibility of the numerical structure of the Quran being produced by a medieval Arab genius becomes evident when we consider the following factors: • It includes simple elements of the Quran and goes deeper to an interlocking system of complex numerical patterns and relationships. • It involves not only frequencies of letters and words but also the numerical values of letters. • It involves not only an intricate numerical pattern but also a huge set of data consisting of units with multiple functions, such as letters that are also digits, words that are also numbers. • The nemeroliteral aspect of the Quran were not known by the adherents of the Quran until late 1960s and especially, 1974. • The literary aspect of the Quran has received praises from many literary giants throughout centuries. • The scientific accuracy of Quranic statements on various fields has been immaculate. • Muhammad was one of the busiest and greatest social and political reformists in human history. • The timing of the discovery of the code is precise and prophetic. • A series of prophetic events regarding the code has been fulfilled.

Running away from madmen

It is enough to just read the first chapter. Here Carl Sagan points out in two letters that there is a huge difference between a priori and a posteriori statistics. Problem is, the author simply does not understand. He still tries to make his 'point'. After the second letter Carl Sagan just gives up, if the author is incapable of understanding a simple thing any high school student would, what is the point of discussing? Needless to say that this is claimed to be some kind of 'running away'. The same way one simply does not discuss with mad people.
And he does even more: Muslims are compared to the worst of 'Non-believers', those who actively try to destroy Islam, just... because they do not believe the strange 19-theory of the author. Not because they do not believe in God, Quran, Messengers etc. This is madness at best.

This book is extremely well produced. The combination of thoughtful examples, excellent real-world datasets, good exercise problems with hints to help you get started and guidance for using the most common software packages (including open-source R) make this a very thorough, self-contained introduction to linear regression. There is a strong emphasis on understanding, application and interpretation. The writing style is crystal clear. It is an ideal tool for independent learning - just follow along with the text using the datasets available from the website & your favorite statistical analysis software. This is the best elementary, practical introduction to linear regression that I have come across, well worth the investment!

Applied Regression Modeling by Iain Pardoe is a very well written textbook about basic linear regression analysis. It is excellent for self study. The language is plain and simple. The approach is entertaining. And the math is easy to understand. You almost feel like you are in the classroom listening to a live lecture. The accompanying website is very informative. Especially the 5 min video clips and computer help are very useful. I recommend this book for anyone interested in learning the basics of regression. It is an excellent practical guide for those at beginner and intermediate level.

Lightweight fun adventure with a likable heroine

Lightweight fun! Not an original concept -- a genetically engineered child escapes her creators and strikes out seeking freedom, but the execution is fresh. The heroine is naive but intelligent. The star-spanning civilization with many intelligent species is lightly sketched, but is a decent background for adventures. The novel has an enjoyable slice of a "stranger's viewpoint", a tradition at least as old as _Persian Letters_, and has fun with conventions of comics, without becoming a parody.

I liked the book, and look forward to reading more of Ion.

This is a fun book to read for youth or even an old Sci-Fi reader.

So much more happens than that introduction. It should be obvious she escapes and that is only the beginning of the adventure. The main character is a good person. She makes good friends (human and alien) and is loyal to them. A lot like an Ell Donsaii novel. The trip to earth is interesting and when she gets there, more adventure. And she hasn't even found her family yet! (Sort of Sharon Lee/Steve Miller ...ish, I hope.) She has some technology that earth could use for interstellar travel and an alien engineer who is very good with the technology so I hope we are going to see some tech transfer in the series/sequel. (I'm thinking something like Alien Abduction by Terry Compton.) Message to the author: Feel free to charge more than 99 cents for the sequel.

Green Japanese Babe takes care of business.

I enjoyed this book for a number of reasons and had trouble with it for some reasons. Briefly this is the story of a woman who is on the cusp of becoming a super-heroine in a Japanese Manga book. The woman escapes from a mad scientist who has been trying to make her into the ultimate assasin. Two thirds of the way through the book we find out she is actually of Japanese decent which is interesting because normally super heroines are at least American. Part of my reason disappointment is I got the feeling there was a sequel coming and we would have to wait to see her use her super powers some more against the really bad guys. On the whole I would recommend this Young adult novel. It's not great literature, just a fun read.
