About the Author
Dennis Shrock is Professor Emeritus of Music, University of Oklahoma. Widely acclaimed as a teacher, scholar, and performer, he has led one of the pre-eminent graduate choral programs in the United States for almost three decades. Furthermore, he has conducted professional and student choirs nationwide. Previous positions include Artistic Director, Santa Fe Desert Chorale and Assistant Conductor and Choral Director, Oklahoma City Philharmonic.

Every choral conductor needs this

From the moment I got this book, I have used it constantly. In concise, consistent form, you can find information on composer, works, instrumentation--all right there. This is an invaluable aid in program planning.

Just entered a masters degree program in choral conducting. This must be the standard text for grad choral conducting. But, thanks for the book which was on time and in good shape!
